The Man Behind the Scenes

Tim is my better half.  He is loved by all.  You only have to meet him once to figure out why.   We are extreme opposites in many ways but what we have in common is the love of our family and farm.

The joke between us is that I'm the designer and he is the laborer.   Trust me he is much more than a laborer.   Tim can figure out how to do just about anything.  He was a mechanic by trade which is what he retired from after 35 years.  However, put a tool in his hand and give him a piece of wood and you would think he had been a carpenter.

Not only is he amazing at projects, but he supports and just laughs at all my new and crazy ideas and trusts me that I know what I'm doing (that part is still unknown).   Tim had not been exposed to gardening until he met me.  He has learned to at least pretend to love it such that I eventually named him "Farmer Tim" which is what he is now lovingly referred to.  He loves getting to use the tractor for sure.  The ironic part is he doesn't like tomatoes....he won't even try them.  However, he picked about 10,000 of them for me one year just to make me happy.   I would not be able to be on this adventure without his love and support.
